New year!

I'm so excited that it's the new year! There have been so many happenings I'm not sure I can catch up on them. Christmas was so much fun! I love Christmas time. We got to spend a lot of time with family and Tyson and I had time to spend with each other. Talk about the best thing in the world. If you all think I'm crazy we didn't get that for almost 4 months straight. Tyson was so busy with school he would come home from work say hi and go straight to the office to do homework and wouldn't come to bed to late hours of the night! Most of the time like midnight. For awhile I would wait up for him but that didn't last long. But these last 4 months have been so worth it. Tyson finally got to graduate on December. I was so excited for that day and HOLY COW I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO PROUD IN MY LIFE!!!!! That boy has worked so dang hard and it paid off. I felt like a mom proud of their child for doing something great! I know weird but seriously when you have the opportunity to have a husband graduate you'll understand! It was a great night and he couldn't wipe his smile off of his face. So dang proud of that cute boy!

For Christmas Eve we spent a little time with my mom and dad and then came home and crashed at our place. I was so excited for Christmas Eve. I have always loved the tradition of opening p.j.'s on Christmas Eve and I've always wanted to carry that over into my family. So of course I bought Tyson pajamas and wrapped them and I bought myself some too! I couldn't wait to be home. Then I had another little surprise. Tyson and I had gotten on a little kick of Harry Potter. We had bought all of the movies with some gift cards that we received for our wedding. So we were so excited that the new one had come out in November. But we had made a rule that the whole month of November we couldn't buy anything because Christmas was coming! So I BOUGHT it! Haha yes such a rule breaker but I bought it for Christmas helllo! So I hid it in one of our drawers hoping and praying that Tyson wouldn't find it. I almost gave it to him early because I couldn't contain my excitement but I waited till Christmas Eve. So I gave him the last Harry Potter Christmas Eve and we fell asleep watching it. Christmas day was so much fun. We spent time with Tys family and spent time with mine!

New Years we headed up to Island Park with a few of our friends. We didn't get up there till about midnight Friday night and it was a little scary getting up there. It started to snow and the roads started to get slick. So naturally I started to have a little bit of anxiety! Haha what's new! So we started to listen to General Conference talks and my anxiety started to go away just a little though! Saturday we slept in really late and went for a snowmobile ride. It was lots of fun. I was a little nervous though because as you all know there hasn't been much snow sooooo I was really scared that would hit a rock. So naturally I had ANXIETY! But we all made it out safe! We played a ton of games and they were so much fun and HILARIOUS! Definitely a New Years to remember!



So now that we have a new year. I've started school and I've started to work a little. I'm so excited for this next year just to see what life brings Tyson and I. I am so grateful for life. I'm so grateful for the people that are in my life. I am so grateful for my family. But most of all I am so grateful for my loving and sweet sweet man. I wouldn't be the person that I am now without him. He makes me want to be a better person. He has taught me so much in the last year that we have been married. I am so glad that he is sooooo patient with me. Especially when I have ANXIETY! :) He is the best man ever and I love him so much!
