1st Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to us! :)

I can't believe that it has been a year already.
It has been the best year ever!
We both have definitely grown so much throughout this whole marriage
process! We have gone through a lot this past year.
Here are just a few of my favorite things in the past year!

1. Tyson graduated!
Love this! I was so proud of him.
It was stressful for both of us. But we made it through it.
I feel that if we made it through that,
we can make it through anything! ;)

2. We moved out to Mud Lake
I was so stressed to move out to Mud Lake.
We had a nice cute apartment in Rigby and it was super cheap rent!
Our landlord called Tyson and asked when we thought we were going to move out.
We had planned on June or maybe even later, but Tyson
quickly told her we could move out whenever she needed us to.
She had a guy that wanted to move in immediately. Tyson
said we would move out in 2 weeks! Ahhhhh! I was freaking out!
He was moving me out to the middle of nowhere! I wasn't going to have a life!
I didn't know anybody and it was SOOOOO far away from my family.
I thought this was the start of the stress in the marriage. Haha! But silly me,
we moved out to Mud Lake in April, and I have grown to love this place.
The people have been so sweet. It has felt like my home from day 1!

3. The 2nd Biker Generation!
Yes we went on a road bike trip! Let's just say
I was far from being excited to go on this trip! I was a nervous wreck just
about the whole time. Even ask Tyson, he'll say
that I didn't hardly talk all weekend! I was just thinking about all the
bad things that could happen! But all in all, it was a ton of fun. Even
though I froze my buns off! But really it was tons of fun! :)

4. Tyson went to Alaska for a WEEK!
Yeah kill me. This one really isn't my favorite,
but it made me realize that I love love love
my sweet man, and I hated every minute
without him. It made me appreciate him even
more when he is around!

 5. First road trip in a car to the beautiful state of MINNESOTA!
Talk about a long drive. If you were to ask
Tyson he would say I slept the whole time. But
I have to disagree with him! Ok, really
who can talk for a straight 18 hours! Not this girl!
Haha but really it was a lot of fun. We got to
go to one of Tyson's mission buddies wedding!
It was so pretty and we were so excited for them. Tyson
especially loved to see his friend that he hadn't seen for awhile!
My favorite part of the trip...We were driving back and stopped about halfway,
we drove to EVERY hotel in the tiny desolate town and NO ONE I repeat NO
ONE had a room available. We were getting so desperate, that finally $101 later
we had a semi-decent bed and a little bit of rest! :)

6.  First Memorial Day Camping Trip together!
It was brutally cold and we got to sleep in the
snowmobile trailer with a little gas heater! Yeehaw!

7. And my all time favorite!
FARMING in the summer. It was so much fun!
I tried to spend a lot of time with my sweet man in the tractor,
or on the four-wheeler checking water. Those will
be my greatest memories. They were so much fun. We had
a lot of fun talks late at night in the tractor.
Even though it called for 3 a.m. water checking, or baling hay, it
was all worth it and I will forever cherish those memories!

I seriously cannot believe that it has been a year.
But the truth is....
I am more in love with that cute boy than I was
when we got engaged. It's amazing how strong your love can grow
for someone each day. He has been so loving and so patient with me
throughout this whole year, and that takes a pretty special guy for all of
you that know me! :)

Here's to 1 year! But so excited to see what this next year brings my sweet man and I!
Love you Tyson Burtenshaw!
