Minnesota: Yep we went to Minnesota. 18 hours later straight in a car, hotter than hot temperatures, and humidity up the wazoo..yeah up the wazoo! It was a fun little get away. We went for Tyson's mission buddies wedding! It was a cute themed wedding! We happened to take a little drive up to Minneapolis and go to the mall of America and WOW! That's all that came out of my mouth when I was there. It had a gazillion floors and probably about 3 of everything! I bought a pair of sweatpants there and Tys a shirt and that's about it. I was pretty proud of myself for walking out of their with just that! I'm sure I could have found more! We left right after Josh and Molly's wedding a drove about half way so we could make our day shorter the next day! So we arrived in a very small town in South Dakota and were desperate for a hotel. EVERY HOTEL THAT WE WENT TO, THEY WERE ALL FULL! Can you believe it? Nope I couldn't either. We finally found one a few $108 later and had a nice rest till it was time to get on the road again! We finally made it home 3 a.m. the next day! :)
School started the next week and let me tell ya Tyson and I were sooo excited to start again! NOT! This is Tyson's last semester and he definitely has senioritis. I on the other hand got into some foundation classes that I did not mind. But, work was keeping me busy enough that I decided to defer this semester and try to save some money! It is to darn hard having 2 people in school at the same time. So say your prayers that both Tyson and I will be sane through the rest of the semester. On the bright side, Tyson said tonight that there is about 2 weeks and it will be mid-terms! Wahoo! :) So now, I am going to continue to work my life away hopefully until the end of December :) Cross your fingers please! :)
Today it snowed and I couldn't believe my eyes. It was like we had 80 degree weather all last week and then BAM we have snow. What the heck!? Yeah I cried a little, but then all of the sudden it got me looking at Christmas decorations, and asking Tyson if we could cut down our own Christmas tree. That's when I really said REALLY KATE?? Hehe Just getting a little too excited I guess :) But I couldn't help myself. Last week we were in the middle of hay, and still had a lot to get done Friday and Saturday. And let me tell ya my hard working husband worked is little buns off and they got everything finished Saturday night just so they didn't have to worry about the rain/snow on Monday! I love riding in the tractor and I spent a few nights and pretty much all day Saturday in the tractor with him. I told him that he had just better teach me how to run the tractor so I could actually feel useful! But Joni told me that I better just stick with not knowing how now because I would regret it if I got taught how to! Hehe so I might take my wise mother-in-laws advice! :)
Well Tis' the season of being busy! Hope you all enjoy a little catchup of our life! :)
