Voyd R. Stewart March 16, 1931- March 26, 2011

So I know that I have been absolutely terrible at blogging lately. But I have a legit reason. I have been super super busy since we've been out of school. The weekend of the last week of school we moved out of our apartment and moved out to Paradise, that's right you heard me Paradise, AKA MUD LAKE, IDAHO! Haha it's a fantastic place. But before school was out we had a very unexpected thing happen in our family.

Grandpa Stewart had fallen down the stairs and was in the hospital I believe it was a Thursday night. He was so beat up, broken nose, bruises everywhere. He was just absolutely miserable. We were all hoping and praying that it wouldn't turn out for the worse, but there was that little thought that Grandpa would return to live with our Heavenly Father again. Grandpa had Alzheimer disease. A very evil disease. Something that was so miserable. And hard for a family to watch their father, grandfather, brother, uncle to go through.

Having Grandpa in the hospital I believe brought the whole Stewart family together, closer to each other. Siblings coming together and showing each other love. Grandpa Stewart passed away Saturday morning. So sad, but almost a relief. I know that sounds terrible to say, but Grandpa Stewart now knew who his family was, where he was and everything was okay. I liked to think of it as he was now having a great big party. He was now able to see his mother and father. His sister that had passed earlier. What a greater feeling than that! Even though Grandpa Stewart will be greatly missed and is missed by many people, I know that he is in a fantastic place. He is having a party for all of us and I can't wait to see him, and have him remember who I am! Grandpa Stewart was a great man, he taught us all so many great things in life.

Grandpa you will forever be missed, but keep partying! We love you! :)
