Camping With the Kidlets!

So this weekend I finally got a few days off of work. Yay for that. I was really excited. So mom, dad and I went to go get Halli and Jake and take them to a little campground in Acequia or something like that. A little town in Burley that has a population of like 108 I think is what I read on the sign when we drove there! It was so much fun. So nice to finally get away from everything, everybody, and pretty much all the crap in this world! It was beautiful there. When we got there I think the temperature was like 92 degrees. I couldn't believe it. It was like the hottest day that we have had all summer. Mmm mmm mm tan skin!

So after dad had gotten the trailer all set up we decided that we were going to take a little walk around the campground. Yes in the bloody hot weather! The campground had little walk ways that we could walk around. This place was beautiful. I think that dad read somewhere that a bunch of boys established it in like 1930's or something! So its been there for a really long time.

So we took the kids to the little swing set that they had. We had adventures of pushing them on the swings, sliding down the lava hot slide, and making fairy wands out of sticks and flowers. Ohh another thing. The kids had taken their flip flops off and they had been sitting in the sun. So they were to hot to put on they claimed so we had to poor all of our water on their flip flops to cool them off. Silly kids! Then on our way back there were sprinklers going and so the kids decided that they wanted to run through them to cool them off! They had so much fun. And such a great way to cool them down!

On our way back we took a little detour and so it took us a little longer than we had planned to get back. Ask Jake and he says that Grandpa got us lost! Funny of the night: Jake saw a little girl on a bike out the window and he said "Ohhh look at that little girl on the bike, she has like................. suction cups on her feet!" So funny thing is the things that he thought were suction cups on her feet were those cute little crocks! So funny we laughed our heads off. So later that night we decided to roast s'mores! Mmm gotta love the old fashioned way of using graham crackers and hershey's chocolate! All in all it was seriously, such a great weekend to get away with the fam! I love them so very much. And those kids are so dang cute! LOVE MY FAMILY! :)
